Veera Kuula is a visual artist based in Kuusamo. She makes traditional drawings and paintings and has over ten years of experience in active art making. She plans to get her degree in fine arts by the end of 2026.

Exhibitions
An Exhibition of Traditional Arts (the lobby of Kuusamo-opisto, Kuusamo, 9.3.-3.4.2026). It was an exhibition combining traditional artworks from two artists. Kuula had five traditional nature-themed paintings in the exhibition.
Portraits-exhibition (restaurant Keppana Kellari, Liesjärvi, 24.5.-31.8.2025). It was an exhibition combining traditional artworks from two artists. Kuula had five traditional portrait-themed drawings and paintings in the exhibition.
In The Depths of The Wilderness (Kemi, 12.12.2024-31.3.2025). It was a shared exhibition combining 3D-models from a group of art students. Kuula had one 3D-model in the exhibition.
You Are Here (Tornio, 10.5.-31.5.2024). It was a shared exhibition combining a variety of different artworks from a group of art students. Kuula had one traditional painting in the exhibition.
Accomplishments
A third place in a photography competition. The competition was a part of Kaunis Kaamos event, which was organized in Hetta during 2.-3.1.2026.
A first place in a national short story competition in 2021. Her winning story was made into an audiobook and published on multiple different audiobook services. She also got a publishing contract with an audiobook company.
